If you’d love to start creating a haven – for yourself and your family – you are going to LOVE the brand-new blog, Home to a Haven.
Three years ago, I started HilaryBernstein.com to write about the important things in life.
But as it happens often with blogs, HilaryBernstein.com morphed into something distinct because of readers like you.
And somewhere since it’s start, HilaryBernstein.com became a place to help readers transform their homes into havens.
I love that focus, because I believe haven creation is so important in people’s lives. In fact, I think havens can change the world.
This summer I spent a lot of time thinking about the focus of this blog and the needs of my e-mail subscribers. (Are you one of those yet? If not, sign up now to become one!) And the idea of a new website was formed.
I’m happy to announce that the new website, Home to a Haven, is ready to serve you!
Introducing Home to a Haven!
With Home to a Haven, I’ll focus on three essential elements to havens:
If and when you neglect your spiritual life, you’ll never experience a haven. Truly. Home to a Haven will help you figure out how to find a true haven and how to nurture that important aspect of your life.
As much as you’d like to create a haven, unfortunately you won’t experience much peace if relationships are strained. Strong, healthy relationships are a key component to your havens. Since relationships aren’t always the smoothest, Home to a Haven will help you with relational issues.
Your actual, physical home is probably what’s easiest to think about when you consider a haven. Of course, your surroundings are a huge aspect to experiencing (or not experiencing) a haven. Plenty of issues can get in the way, though – like overwhelm, a lack of motivation, clutter, or time issues. Home to a Haven will help navigate you through those practical problems.
Where do you need the most help?
You may feel like those three sides to haven creation are a piece of cake. Or (like most people), you may recognize that the struggle is real. Spiritual growth, relationships, and maintaining a home all are much tougher than you ever imagined.
If you could use some encouragement or help with your spiritual, relational, or physical havens, you’ll love Home to a Haven.
Chances are that even if you feel like you really need to improve in one area, you’re already pretty amazing at one of those havens. To find out which one you’re already rocking, click here to take a quick quiz!
The future of HilaryBernstein.com
So … what will happen to HilaryBernstein.com?
HilaryBernstein.com is a lot like me … staying the same in many aspects, but continually changing due to the season of life.
This blog will still be here in its little corner of the Internet. But gradually all of the spiritual, relational, and physical haven posts will make their way to Home to a Haven and other kinds of encouragement and help will replace it. (I’ll announce the direction of HilaryBernstein.com in 2019!)
Since HilaryBernstein.com has a history of being shaped by readers and e-mail subscribers, I’m looking forward to seeing what the next chapter of this blog will look like!
What would YOU like to see on HilaryBernstein.com? What’s one thing you’re most excited about with Home to a Haven?
